Juan Rodríguez García

Juan Rodríguez García is a generative artist with a background in architecture. His projects often explore themes of complexity and transformation. He has gained recognition for his ability to blend traditional artistic concepts with cutting-edge technology. Rodríguez García also teaches classes in creative coding at Iberoamericana University in Puebla, Mexico.

En Mi Cuerpo

En Mi Cuerpo is a generative series that deconstructs and reassembles 3D human figures with geometric and colorful elements. Inspired by architectural precision, Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, and his hometown of Puebla, the series challenges traditional self-depiction and our understanding of anatomy.

Forma y Orden

Forma y Orden is a generative series that encourages viewers to rethink how order is perceived in both physical and digital realms, using algorithms to reinterpret the ordinary - chairs and people. Key controls allow users to manipulate and contrast different compositions and scales, offering insights into ordered and disordered states. Special controls provide options for viewing and printing layers in black-and-white or color.

Caminos

The Caminos collection debuted at NFT ART CDMX in 2022, a four-day celebration of generative art in Mexico City produced by Bright Moments. The series explores the artist’s use of color and geometry to reflect the dynamic and layered nature of urban environments. Caminos consists of five interactive layers, allowing users to explore different patterns and elements, much like discovering a city’s evolving spaces and experiences over time.

Memorias del espacio olvidado

Memorias del espacio olvidado is a generative series that captures the interplay between nature and abandoned architecture. Each piece in the series illustrates how plants reclaim and grow within neglected urban spaces, symbolizing the resilience and personal growth of humans.
